Camelback Mountain Resort

You want snow tubing? Camelback Mountain has snow tubing! As a matter of fact, Camelback Mountain offers guests an enjoyable two-hour session at the largest snow tubing park in the country.

There are over 40 lanes to accommodate you here with a Magic Carpet lift to bring you back to the top to ride again. There are daytime sessions as well as Galactic Snow Tubing at night when the lanes glow.

Snow tubing sessions start every hour on the hour. Sessions are at a variety of times during the day and night seven days a week. Riders under 14 must be accompanied by a participating adult. We recommend you reserve your tickets in advance online.

The snow tubing park at Shawnee Mountain features single tubes as well as adult and child tandem tubes. This is a great option for families with first-time tubers who might be nervous about going it alone. Tandem tubes are for one adult and one child under 46″. 

There are several tubing lanes and two surface lifts that whisk you to the top so you aren’t left waiting around. Night tubing sessions are available on the days that have night skiing available.

Sessions at Shawnee Mountain are an hour and a half, and all tubing sessions must be reserved online ahead of time.

Adventure Center at Skytop Lodge

Skytop Lodge is a great place for families to stay when visiting the Pocono mountains. Here you’ll find activities like ice skating, skiing, snowboarding, axe throwing, snow shoeing, ice fishing, and other options onsite, including snow tubing.

Reservations are required to enjoy the fun at Skytop Lodge’s snow tubing hill. Kiddos over age four can join the action, and those over 40 inches tall can ride on their own.

It’s just enough fun for each member of the family to enjoy some speed and some smiles. A shuttle is available to get to the hill for guests at the lodge, and visitors can park at the Adventure Center. Lodge guests snow tube for just $10, which is a great value. Each session is one hour.

Minimum Height/Age: Four years old and at least 33 inches tall.

Pricing: The cost for a one hour session comes to $10 for resort guests or $20 for visitors.

Blue Mountain

Blue Mountain Snow Tubing Park is home to the longest and fastest lanes in the state. Fly down one of their 46 lanes – each over 1,000 feet long! This is snow tubing in PA at its finest. In fact, it is the largest snow tubing park in the USA.

The park is serviced by three lifts so the fun never stops. Choose between a single tube or double the fun and grab a friend to ride together in a two-person tube. Sessions here are three hours long and begin every hour on the hour.

This is a weekend activity at Blue Mountain, with Thursday evening spots available as well as Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holiday hours from 9am to 9pm. Choose from daytime tubing or ski during the day and then snow tube under the lights. New for 2024, after 5PM tubing hills 1 and 2 turn into laser light shows.

Parents and grandparents who would rather watch than participate will love the Après Snow Tubing area which has fire pits, a food truck, and great views of the snow tubing hill.

Anyone looking for super fast tubing owes it to themselves to try White Lightning Tubing. There’s a reason they call it white lightning! Thrilling tube rides are perfect for adventurous friends and family.

No one has to worry about the weather, as they make their own snow here. Ride to the top on the Magic Carpet lift and slide down one of seven snow covered lanes. Sessions begin on the hour.

Tube from December through March during the day on weekends and nightly during the week. At the bottom of the hill there is a place to get food and drinks, restrooms, and seating if you’d like to get a hot drink and take a break from sliding. They also often have a fire going.

Sessions here are available seven days a week. There are evening sessions each day as well as day sessions on weekends and holidays. Sessions are four hours long on weeknights and two hours on weekends.

The hills are groomed nightly to keep them in great condition. There is a kiddie tubing hill available for little ones who are 32-41 inches tall. Tickets are first come, first served.

Roundtop Mountain Resort snow tubing features up to ten large tubing lanes. The runs are 800 feet long and have a vertical drop of 80 feet. They do have a covered Magic Carpet lift to make it easy for tubers to go back up the hill with ease.

Smaller kiddos will appreciate the Kiddie Tubing area for guests 41 inches tall and under. Smaller child-sized tubes are a great fit for younger tubers.

Parents and kids either walk back up the kiddie hill, or parents can pull their child back up in the tube (the parent does not ride here, just the small child). Tickets are only available online and sessions are two hours long.

The Mountain View Lodge has great views of the tubing hill as well as food and drink options and an outdoor fireplace. Tubing takes place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and must be reserved in advance.

Tussey Mountain is a great place for families to ski or snowboard thanks to its reasonable rates for families and special “beginner’s area only” pricing. It is is a fun place to go snow tubing!

Fit yourself into a tube at Tussey Mountain and then let it do all the work as you whiz down the mountain. Relax as you get pulled to the top on the handle-tow lift to check out the beautiful view. Then do it all again.

It’s like sledding without all of the work, and in a pretty setting. Snow tubing here can be very fast, depending on the conditions. Tickets must be purchased online and reserved in advance.

Minimum Height/Age: Recommended age is 6 or older to tube and must be able to ride solo.

Pricing: $30 for 90 minutes.

Avalanche Xpress at Heritage Hills in York

A conveyor lift will transfer guests to the top of the tubing slope where six lanes await. Riders will then slip and slide down 700 feet of fun with family and friends.
