Step back in time on Main Street in Historic Downtown Grapevine. Victorian-style buildings dressed up with ribbons and bows are set aglow with thousands of twinkling lights. This mile-long stretch of quaint store fronts is filled with unique gifts and treats.

The annual Carol of Lights event to kick-off the season is November 21, 2022! Snap a family photo with live reindeer, indulge in some festive treats, and end the night watching fireworks light up the night sky.

Another fun event, The Parade of Lights takes place on the first Thursday in December. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between Thanksgiving and Christmas you’ll also find Santa and a whole cast of jolly Christmas characters on Main Street.

New this year, downtown will be home to a giant ice-skating rink at Peace Plaza for the holiday season! The rink opens November 18 and will operate through January 8, 2023.

Our favorite stop on Main Street is Vetro Glass Blowing Studio and Gallery, for an up-close look at the art of glass blowing and a keepsake ornament. In the mood for a show?

The Palace Theater runs classic holiday films, live musical performances, and The Nutcracker Short and Sweet.
