Are you trying to choose between spending your Turks & Caicos vacation in the center of the action or at a location so laid-back you can hear the palm trees swaying in the breeze? A stay at Alexdra Resort or Blue Haven, both part of the Turks & Caicos Collection All-Inclusive Resorts allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds because guests get access to both properties.
The Turks & Caicos Collection consists of the Alexandra Resort, which sits on the world-famous Grace Bay Beach on Providenciales’ northeast coast, and Blue Haven, which is tucked away in tony Leeward, a residential community at the island’s east end. When you stay at one, you can also enjoy the amenities at the sister resort.

Select a Resort Home Base, Then Have Fun
The Turks & Caicos Collection resort you choose as your home base will depend greatly on your family’s travel style. Kids 12 and under stay free at both resorts.
Both have beautiful beaches and amazing pool scenes. Both also have a selection of delectable restaurants. Yet, they offer very different atmospheres that give guests the opportunity to crank their activity level up a notch or take it down to a relaxing roll. Let me show you what I mean.
Alexandra Resort All Inclusive Review

Whether you wake to a view of the turquoise waters of Grace Bay outside your window or the resort’s lush garden, this Turks & Caicos Collection property offers a range of amenities that make even multigenerational travel a breeze! The spacious suites in this resort include a kitchenette stocked with water, soft drinks, and local beer. Many also have a washer and dryer.
Convenience and fun are at the center of everything. The resort’s lagoon-style pool sits in the middle of the property. Guests can take a water aerobics class while the kids splash around, play ping pong, or scamper around the nearby playground.
The Sandpiper Kids’ Club and the Elevate Spa are also in this part of the resort. A regular calendar of activities includes family beach games, karaoke, dance classes, movie nights, and more.
Centrally Located on Grace Bay

The highlight of a stay at Alexandra Resort all-inclusive is the famed white sand beaches of Grace Bay. Just a few minutes walk from the center of the property, you will feel the Caribbean breeze and the crystal-clear waters flow right into your nervous system the minute you lay eyes on the scene.
Ranked among the top ten of the World’s 50 Best Beaches, this beach is pristine. You won’t find a lot of seaweed, rocks, or pollution.
Grace Bay Beach is also busy! It is the departure point for catamaran sails, snorkeling tours, and sunset cruises. While the beach is public and accessible, numerous resorts offer umbrella-shaded seating, including Alexandra Resort.
An all-inclusive experience at Alexandra includes:

- Sandpiper Kid’s Club and activities
- Non-motorized watersports including water trampoline, snorkeling, kayaks, Hobie cats, sailboats, and stand-up paddle boards (SUPs)
- 24-Hour Fitness Center
- Day and Night Tennis and Pickleball Courts
- Guest Bicycles
- All-inclusive access to sister resort, Blue Haven
- Shuttle between Alexandra Resort and Blue Haven
- All meals at any of the resort’s restaurants, some of which may require reservations.

A Bonus Benefit: Walking Distance to the Weekly Fish Fry!

The Fish Fry is a popular weekly event that brings locals and visitors together for a unique opportunity to enjoy some local cultural immersion.
Held every Thursday from 5:30-9:30 PM in Stubbs Diamond Plaza, it’s a great place to sample local cuisine like cracked conch, buy handmade gifts from area artists, or dance with a Junkanoo band. This last activity alone is an experience like no other!
Junkanoo is a traditional procession of masqueraders in costume dancing to the rhythm of drums, whistles, cowbells, and other native instruments. Musicians parade through a wide walkway in the event’s lot, framed by observers on each side who fall in behind the band as it passes through.
The practice ends with a pulsating group of humanity and rhythm massed together. The Fish Fry is an easy 10-minute walk from the Alexandra Resort.
Blue Haven All-Inclusive Resort Review

It’s not difficult to see where Blue Haven gets its name. The minute you walk through the arched lobby of this Turks & Caicos Collection property and onto the beach behind it, you will wonder how you’ve gotten this far without knowing that so many shades of blue existed.
One of the most private all-inclusive resorts in Turks and Caicos, Blue Haven is located on the east end of Providenciales, in the residential community of Leeward.
Expect Tranquility at Blue Haven

The atmosphere at Blue Haven is more tranquil and intimate than that of Alexandra Resort. The loudest sounds during my visit were the light breeze traveling through the Palm Trees at the beach’s edge and the occasional jet ski skimming the water’s surface.
This Turks & Caicos Collection resort includes an infinity edge pool that, from certain angles, appears as if it could launch you into the ocean waters. The proximity of the two makes it easy to keep switching back and forth between them, although the pool has a swim-up bar that keeps some folks there for a while.
Trust me when I tell you that the poolside or beachside is a great place to enjoy some conch fritters and a local delicacy on the menu— you must try it!

You can take your efforts in relaxation to a hammock or a cabana if you wish, but the kids may challenge you to a game of oversized chess or horseshoes first. Blue Haven also offers a variety of water activities, including stand-up paddle boards, water trampolines, kayaks, and snorkeling gear. You can always send the kiddos off to the Sandpiper Kids Club for some age-appropriate activities and adventures for little ones to teens.

Blue Haven Resort features spacious suites that can comfortably sleep from 4 to 6 people, depending on the suite.
With the exception of 8 two-bedroom garden suites, the remainder of the accommodations at this Turks & Caicos Collection property are oceanfront. All suites include fully equipped kitchens as well as washers and dryers. Guests can shop for grocery items, snacks, and coffee to use in those kitchens at the resort’s market.
I was stunned to realize that while Blue Haven may feel remote and secluded, it’s only 4 miles from Grace Bay.
An all-inclusive experience at Blue Haven includes:
- Sandpiper Kids Club
- Use of non-motorized watersports, Stand Up Paddle Board, Water Trampoline, Kayaks, and Snorkeling Gear
- 24-hour fitness room
- 24-hour snack station
- Pickleball, Bicycles, Beach Games
- Complimentary shuttle to the Alexandra Resort
- All meals at any of the resort’s restaurants, some of which may require reservations.
Here’s a handy dining guide:

Restaurant | Cuisine Type | Meal Time |
Fire & Ice Restaurant – Blue Haven’s primary restaurant | Casual eatery near the marina offering salads, seafood appetizers, pizzas, wraps, burgers, and pastas | Breakfast à la carte and buffet, Dinner à la carte |
Café Agave | Fruit and vegetable smoothies | 8 AM – 3 PM daily |
Seaside Pool Bar and Grill | Elevated small bites and handheld options | Lunch |
Salt at Blue Haven Marina | Casual eatery near the marina offering salads, seafood appetizers, pizzas, wraps, burgers and pastas | Lunch, Dinner |
A Bonus Benefit: An Eco-Adventure at the Resort’s Back Door

Lush mangroves sit directly opposite the Blue Haven, visible from the beach, inviting adventure and exploration. For an extra fee, your family can go on a Mangrove ECO Tour with an expert guide who will reveal this ecosystem as you go. You’ll likely see sea turtles, nurse shark pups, and other wildlife.
Enjoying this 2-hour tour in a clear kayak will ensure you don’t miss a thing as you go; you’ll see the entire ecosystem through the kayak! Iguana Island is a notable stop on this tour; it is home to rock iguanas, a protected species found only in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

This adventure is a highlight for families. It is also available to guests, no matter which of the two resorts in the Turks & Caicos Collection is their home base.
