Heading outside the city?

Explore Greater Ontario destinations, including the Central Counties. Home to Canada’s Wonderland, the Central Counties region is a great place for Toronto families to escape to for a day trip or weekend. Beyond having a beautifully landscaped theme park that caters well to any age group, the Central Counties offers unique opportunities for families to experience the outdoors. Families can test their fear of heights high above in the tree canopy on ropes and planks at Treetop Eco Adventure Park. The Albion Hills Conservation Area has great camping facilities. Rent fully equipped trailers or camping equipment, splash in their pool, or rent some bikes and hit their miles of mountain biking terrain parks. If an adrenaline rush isn’t what you’re looking for, the large area that makes up central counties is filled with rolling hills dotted with farms and lakes. Read more Central Counties day trip ideas.
