Portability and safety seem to be the features of choice. Congratulations to Comment #69, Brandi Westmoreland. You’re the new owner of a fabulous new Snazzy Baby Travel Chair.

The most important factor is that a travel highchair is lightweight and small- I have my hands full with kids already!

  2. Carrie February 9, 2010 at 12:44 am #

I’m a fan of Trekaroo on Facebook (Carrie F Y)

The most important feature of a portable highchair would be the ability to clean it after each use before leaving the restaurant etc…

  4. Heather February 9, 2010 at 12:48 pm #

The most important features are a lightweight, compact design as well as the ability to attach the chair to a variety of spaces. There is nothing worse than realizing your portable high chair can’t be attached to any of the furniture in your hotel room or wherever you may be trying to feed your little one!

  5. Camille February 9, 2010 at 1:00 pm #

When I saw the title “portable highchair” I thought it was an oxymoron. All I could think of for the most important feature was a sarcastic “Must fit in my car.” Upon seeing it…”WOW” What a great idea. I want one!

  6. Grace Yao February 9, 2010 at 1:21 pm #

The most important factor for a travel highchair is that it can be collapsed into a small bag for easy of carry. In addition, it should be made in a material that is easy to clean outside of house.

  7. Linda February 9, 2010 at 1:55 pm #

With a 6-month old baby, to me, the most important feature of a travel highchair is how compact it can be once folded because luggage space is a luxury that we often don’t have enough of. It is also very important that the highchair is easy to assemble and can be tightly secured onto most chairs.

  8. Aimee February 9, 2010 at 2:38 pm #

A travel highchair should be lightweight, small enough for a diaper bag, high in safety features yet simple in design. Easy to clean. Fashionable is a plus!

  9. Amy February 9, 2010 at 6:32 pm #

The most important thing to me in a highchair is that it is collapsible and portable, and fits on most seats.

  10. Caryn Bailey February 9, 2010 at 11:31 pm #

I like the ability to fold or store it neatly. I also like a chair that is lightweight.

For me it has to be compact and very durable!

  17. CanCan February 10, 2010 at 9:29 am #

It has to be actually portable and not come in it’s own backpack. Plus I don’t like those ones with the inflatable seat because they get all tilty.

  18. Pat February 10, 2010 at 9:44 am #

Most important is that it is lightweight.

  19. McKim February 10, 2010 at 10:29 am #

Ease of use would be my top priority. Price is another big consideration.

  35. Denise B. February 11, 2010 at 8:07 am #

It’s most important that the restraints do the job of keeping my son from climbing out or falling off the chair.

  36. Cheryl February 11, 2010 at 9:08 am #

The most important part to me is that it is safe. I don’t want to strap the baby in, and somehow it loosens or she can get out of it. Thanks!

  37. Liz H February 11, 2010 at 1:55 pm #

that it is not bulky and it is lightweight. I have enough to carry.

  38. Linda February 11, 2010 at 1:59 pm #

The improtant feature I’m looking for is it must be lightweight and fold up small for easy traveling.

  39. Bernadette February 11, 2010 at 4:23 pm #

Definitely safety (it doesn’t hurt that it’s cute though!).

  40. Laura DeLuca February 11, 2010 at 6:42 pm #

The most important feature, other than the obvious that its safe for my child, would be that its portable and easy to carry with me

  50. JL February 13, 2010 at 7:26 pm #

we are a family of three and tend to travel quite frequently.
Safety is first. Convenience would be second on my list. Easy portablity would definitely be of much convenience…

  51. Melodic Mom February 13, 2010 at 9:56 pm #

The most important feature to me is portability. I hate packing up my daughter’s HUGE full size high chair everytime we go to my Aunt’s house. It takes up the entire trunk.
