Monday Mad Steals: SafetyTat Giveaway

Moms know how scary it is to lose a child. That’s why Michele Walsh, mom of three invented SafetyTat. She was worried that she would become
separated from her children at a crowded amusement park.  The solution? A temporary tattoo that gives parents peace of mind with fun and colorful
designs that kids love.

SafetyTat temporary id tattoos keep parents and children connected. It’s Safety that Sticks. When a lost child is too young or too upset to communicate a parent or a guardian’s phone number, this temporary child id tattoo does it for them. SafetyTat tattoos cannot be readily removed or smeared, and are waterproof.

Girl_holding_Cheeks_SafetyTThere are two basic types of tattoos. The Original SafetyTat can be customized with your phone number or any other information on their website. They can be easily applied with water and will last for 1-5 days.   The second type is the “Quick Stick Write-on!”  series which are peel-and-stick tattoos.

SafetyTat child id tattoos are also useful for many situations — traveling, amusement parks, water parks, sporting events, site seeing, shopping malls and school field trips.  The www.SafetyTat.com website also offers tattoos with special needs, emergency and allergy alerts.

I recently got a chance to test out SafetyTat’s Quick Stick, Write-On tattoos. Here’s my review of SafetyTat. A great stocking stuffer for moms with young kids. Use TrekAroo (case sensitive) during checkout and receive 10% off order of $15 or more before 12/23/09.  We’ve also got some to give away!

We’re planning a trip to a busy area and the ID bracelets I purchased a few years ago no longer fit. This prize would give me peace of mind!

We go to Disneyland a lot and my daughter loves to run. She’s 3 and also loves temporary tattoos. I know she would wear these, and we could share them with our friends when we go together. I’m already a fan of Trekaroo on Facebook, and I just became of fan of Safety Tats.

I’d love to win this product. It’s perfect, a clear step above the “put a business card in his pocket” idea.

I’m already a Trekaroo facebook fan – does that count?

These are great. I wish I had them when we went to Disney last year, but I’d get them and save for the next big trip. 🙂

I’d like to win because my toddler is crazy and fast and is always escaping!

My older son separated from me and my younger son when we were at a half-Ironman race cheering on my husband. It was a horrifying feeling — scanning crowds of people for my son, walking in circles unsure whether I should go further to look for him or stay put in case he returned, and hopelessly unable to find a staff person with a walkie-talkie to help me. I wish I had these then!

Love the idea of this, especially since people don’t always look in the pockets of our guy’s coat for our business cards (or in the summer, he doesn’t have a coat or pockets for that matter) and the stickers we tried putting on him either fall off on their own or get stuck to things like lamp posts! 🙂

We travel a lot during the summer and it would give me peace of mind.

Stacy, Wow! That must have been totally horrifying. How did you end up finding him? How long were you separated for? This is just one of those things you dread happening but don’t really think is going to happen to you until it does and then you’re like – why didn’t I just pay a few dollars for that *** tattoo!

What a great idea works for elderly with Alzheimers too.

    Y not?

Its so important to have these, exspecially now during holiday season. Every store we go to is packed, and its scary to think that it only takes 5 seconds of not paying attention for a child to wander off.
