A few years ago, my suitcase broke open sliding down the LAX baggage claim’s luggage shoot and some of its contents were thrown out. As I gathered my clothing off the conveyor belt, a man who seemed very embarrassed handed me my bra which he had picked up off the floor! Last Friday, Beth shared with you her recommendations on how to have a great first trip to New York City with kids. She suggested kid friendly dining, classic New York City experiences (such as Central Park and Times Square), and tipped us off to the value of the New York Pass for families looking to visit several attractions around the city.

One of the best ways to capture memories of past vacations is through photography. Staring at an image of a park, city, beach, or even a lonely highway once traveled conjures up fond memories of experiences we never want to forget. In my home, I love to display pictures of different National Parks that my family has visited. Those trips mean so much to me because my family loves the outdoors and each photo means we are one step closer to reach our goal of seeing them all.
Unfortunately, some of the pictures I take don’t turn out like I would hope. Sometimes they turn out like this:
Not bad, but certainly not frame worthy.
